INJURIES AND TRAINING NO PROBLEM
I SUFFERED A WRIST INJURY THIS WEEK SLIDING INTO SECOND BASE, BUT IT DIDN'T STOP ME FROM MY WORKOUTS. I'VE BEEN DOING REALLY WELL WITH THE VO2 MAX PROTOCOL, HOWEVER SNATCHING WILL BE VERY PAINFUL HOPEFULLY NOT FOR LONG SO I JUST ADAPTED TO THE SITUATION I CONTINUED SNATCHING WITH MY RIGHT HAND AND INCLUDED SOME ROPES GONE WILD THE SAME PROTOCOL AND IF YOU'VE EVER DONE ROPE TRAINING YOU KNOW IT'S A GOOD CARDIO CHALLENGE IT'S NOT SNATCHING,BUT IT'S A GOOD ALTERNATIVE AND I'M NOT STOPPING. I KNOW SOME INJURIES ARE REALLY BAD AND DO MAKE TRAINING DIFFICULT,BUT I TRULLY BELIEVE WHERE THERE'S A WILL THERE'S A WAY. WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS PLAN SIT DOWN AND THINK FOR A MINUTE ABOUT WHAT A GOOD ALTERNATIVE WOULD BE JUST LIKE THE ROPES WORKED FOR ME ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE WOULD HAVE BEEN SWINGS WHICH I WOULD OF DONE IF I HADN'T DONE HIGH VOLUME THE DAY BEFORE. IF YOU HAVE AND ATHLETE AS A CLIENT AND THEY NEED TO KEEP TRAINING YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO ADAPT ACTUALLY THAT'S TRUE WITH ALL YOUR CLIENTS IT'S JUST ONE SIGN OF A GREAT TRAINER. REMEMBER THINK,PLAN,EXECUTE,ADAPT
