TECHNIQUE IS EVERYTHING

With no other piece of training equipment can you gain so much, the kettlebell is the perfect tool to give you everything you've ever wanted from cardiovascular endurance to muscular strength that is unmatched.

For me being an RKC it's my responsibility to ensure that each client has the proper flexibility stability and technique while using the kettlebell. As in life sometimes things go unchecked, well not here at NEW ENGLAND KETTLEBELLS you can always count on the resources you will need to make sure your kettlebell experience is a safe and a productive one.
In the picture above you will see Drew Rossi C.S.C.S. on the right with the kettlebell over head he shows a slight bend in his elbow and to much seperation from his ear and shoulder. You must compress that shoulder down into the lattisimus dorsi (lat) in order to correct these technique flaws. With the shoulder in this position it is unstable and open for injury. Now go to Sean on the right the shoulder is down and close to the ear very stable, this position can be held comfortably for a longer duration with out any energy leaks.
So remember in the over head position shoulder down into the lat and close to the ear. Practice this technique like you were practicing the piano the more you work on it the more natural it becomes. If you have any questions please contact me for free consultaion. Thanks to Drew for his demonstration Drew's technique with the kettlebell is flawless unless I ask him to pose for a picture. Drew Rossi, C.S.C.S. showing how you should not be licking your lips while posing for a picture as well. Haha. Feeling the need to defend myself, that camera man took a freakin long time. Sean's right though, bad form hears no excuse. Excellent Post.
